Message	general rule of thumb; hydraulic lifters are self adjusting solid lifters are not hydraulic lifters weigh roughly twice what a solid lifter does solid lifters require shimming/adjustment every 10k to 50k miles. so, what do you want? lighter drivetrain for higher revs? or longevity and piece of mind?
